This competition is open to all Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) legally registered and operating within the ECOWAS region, with a focus on renewable energy, clean technology, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Entrepreneurs in West Africa are at the heart of the region’s clean energy transition, offering localized, innovative solutions that respond directly to community needs. Yet, many face challenges in business development, access to finance, and technical project refinement. The WAPECC25 Impact Starter Platform aims to address these challenges by offering visibility, expert mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

All entries will be reviewed by a jury composed of experts from ECREEE, GIZ, and other regional institutions and overseen by our local Partner(name). Evaluation criteria will
