Benin-Cotonou
Is held under the auspices of the Government of Benin and the Ministry of Energy, Water and Mines. WAPECC-Cotonou 25 is a flagship event supported by the Association of Power Utilities of Africa (APUA) and the ECOWAS Energy Commission. Organised in collaboration of the Ministry of Energy, Water and Mines of Benin and Venture Konect UK Ltd partners, the 3rd edition of the West Africa Power and Energy Cooperation Conference (WAPECC 25) will take place from December 03 – 05 – 2025, in Cotonou, Benin.
Cotonou is the ideal host for WAPECC25 due to its strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and regional energy connectivity. As an ECOWAS member, Benin plays a key role in cross-border electricity trade and renewable energy development.
With growing investments in energy, infrastructure, and economic reforms, Benin offers a stable and business-friendly environment for private-sector participation in power generation and distribution.
WAPECC25 will showcase innovative energy solutions, reinforcing Benin’s position as a leader in West Africa’s energy transformation and sustainable development.
